Marcus Allen is considered one of the greatest running backs in the history of professional and collegiate football. In 1981, he won the Heisman Trophy awarded to college football’s best player. Marcus was drafted in the first-round of the 1982 draft and was voted the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. He was the 1985 NFL MVP and was selected to six Pro Bowls.

Marcus’s career totals include 12,243 yards rushing, 5,411 yards receiving and 145 touchdowns. He was the first player in history to record over 10,000 rushing and 5,000 receiving yards. In 1999, The Sporting News listed him as one of the 100 Greatest Football Players of all-time. Marcus was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003.
