JIMMY BULLARD CALLED UP FOR TEAM ENGLAND IN THE REIGNWOOD ICONS OF FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT IN BANGKOK

January 30, 2025, Bangkok: Former professional footballer and TV personality Jimmy Bullard has been announced as the latest addition to Team England for the Reignwood Icons of Football tournament, taking place March 1-2, 2025, at Robinswood Golf Course in Reignwood Park, Bangkok.

Originally known for his skills on the pitch and vibrant personality off it, Bullard has seamlessly transitioned into the world of golf over recent years, dedicating his time to appearing on and hosting regular online challenges across YouTube and social media. 

Bullard is set to join Lee Westwood’s Team England in the world-first Asian edition of the Icons Series event. The two-day competition will see Team England face Team World, captained by Sergio Garcia, in an intense team matchplay format, combining the excitement of football rivalries with the precision of golf. 

Sharing a personal message across his social media, Jimmy Bullard expressed his excitement at being selected. “I’m buzzing to be part of the Reignwood Icons of Football in Bangkok. I played in the Icons Series for Westy back in the day and can’t wait to get out there and represent Team England again. They’ve got an incredible team but so do we - it’s going to be an intense matchplay on an unbelievable track at Robinswood. Come on England!”
