Gianfranco Zola (born 5 July 1966) is an Italian former professional footballer celebrated for his skill and creativity, particularly during his time at Chelsea. Playing as a forward and attacking midfielder, Zola became a club legend at Chelsea from 1996 to 2003, where he helped secure two FA Cups, the League Cup, and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup with his exceptional dribbling, vision, and free-kick prowess. Before Chelsea, he won Serie A with Napoli and the UEFA Cup and Super Cup with Parma. After leaving Chelsea, Zola had brief spells at Cagliari before retiring in 2005 and later managed several teams, including West Ham United and Watford.
