Paul Emerson Carlyle Ince (born 21 October 1967) is an English former professional footballer and manager, celebrated as one of the top midfielders of the 1990s. Known for his tenacity and leadership, Ince had a distinguished career with clubs including West Ham United, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Liverpool, and Middlesbrough. At Manchester United, he won two Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. He made a notable impact at Inter Milan and continued his strong performances with Liverpool and Middlesbrough. Ince earned 53 caps for England, featuring in two European Championships and the 1998 FIFA World Cup. After retiring in 2007, he became the first Black British manager in the Premier League with Blackburn Rovers in 2008.
